Sometimes it may be that you have made a publication that you want to share, for example with a colleague or an external auditor. We recommend publishing your material to a web server, which means you can copy the URL of the publication and send it to the person you want to see the publication. However, a prerequisite for this is that the person in question has access to this web server. You can read more about where to publish your material in this FAQ: Where should I publish my models?
If you do not have the possibility to publish to a web server, or some other place that the other person has access to, you can always make a ZIP file of your local publication and send this file. In this FAQ we will go through how to share a publication.
When you publish on your local disc, you create a pages map and an index.html file.
The standard destination for local publishing is the location you see above, but you can browse to any location of your computer you want by adding a new location on the "plus" or changing the standard by mark it and click on the "pensil".
When you have published, this is the files on the map that you published to,
Zip the two files, and a ziped file will be created that you can send to another person. The reciever have to unzip the file and then be able to open the publication by open the index file.
