The left panel shows information about models and objects. If you want to show different types of information depending on which model you are in or which object you click on, you can do this by creating filters. Filters work in the same way as the filtering for creating lists.
1. Edit the settings for the left panel. Select the Model or Object tab, depending on whether it is objects or models you want to create filters for.
2. Click the "pencil" next to the drop-down menu at the bottom of the panel.
3. This box shows which filters are available, by default there is only one called default for all objects.
Create a new filter by clicking "add filter".
4. Put a title on your filter, then choose if you want to filter on a specific model type/object type, then you can continue to set subsequent filters. Example:
I want a file on my home page only. I filter on title, enter "Homepage" because my model I have as a start is called this.
Click the check mark and your filter has been created.
5. Click "Save".
6. Click the dropdown menu where it says "Default for all objects", select your created filter and then you can choose which information to display based on your filter. If you do not want the panel to be displayed at all, you can remove all information on the filter you created and the panel will then be hidden.
All objects or models that are NOT included in any filter will be given the settings for "Default for all objects".
