In the 2c8 Modeling Tool, you can turn on the "Margins" or "Grid" feature under "Model Surface Settings".
Margins can be used to ensure you are modeling within a specified area. You can choose the size of the specified area yourself.
For example, if you are going to make reports in A4 format, this setting can help you stay within the area and ensure that the model is not too large to display correctly on an A4 paper. You can use the choices "Web, 1280" and "Web, 1600" respectively if you publish your material on the web and want the models to fill the surface correctly and the end user not having to scroll.
Note that end users' screen resolution settings and browser zoom may affect how large the model is in the published material.
Grids can be used as an alternative to the "Snap" function and act as a support for you to model with correct horizontal and vertical spacing.
