How do I add more publishing sites to our web server hosted by 2c8?

Often there is a need to make several different publications to the same web server, for example for different departments, units, or purposes. To do this, you need to add several different destinations to the web server, which then results in different URLs for different publications. Here's how to add several different destinations on the web server to publish your material to:

1. Log in to the 2c8 Portal and go to "Publishing Locations" in the left panel.

2. Click on "Create new publishing site".

3. Here you first of all select the server you want to publish to in the "Server" drop-down menu. Then name the publishing site something suitable under "Name". After this, add a suitable description to help users understand what will be published to the site under "Description". Under "Relative path" you then add a new destination/folder on the web server. It is this path that makes the publication unique. In the example below, we show how we have chosen to add a publication site for specifically the Social Services' processes. We have chosen to write the relative path as /socialtjansten/ which results in a destination that points to https://demo51.2c8.com/published/socialstjansten/.
