You need to be an administrator on your server to do this.
In the 2c8 Modeling Tool, a repository has a configuration that, among other things, controls which model types, object types and relationship types can be used and which are allowed where. Situations may arise when there is content in a repository that violates the configuration, e.g. after importing from another repository, when importing drafts from 2c8 Lite or if you applied a new configuration to a repository that already contains models. To make all models in your repository look the same and follow the repository configuration you specified, you can run a validation against the configuration.
Start by opening the repository. Then click on "Tools" - "Validate" in the menu bar.
You first get to choose which models to validate and when the validation is done, a list of deviations from the configuration is displayed.
In the example in the image above, symbol size in the object "Bekrefte kundordre?" is invalid and do not match the standard size. Under "Action", you can then choose what you want to do to fix the error.
Once you've selected the action you want to take, you can also click the "Apply to all" button. This means that the same action will be applied to all similar errors found in the validation. When you click "Apply", all actions are applied and then another validation is run on the current models. The reason why the validation was run once more is because an action could lead to another deviation from the configuration in another model.
