Learn how to export translations to a file, edit them outside of 2c8 Apps, and import them back again. This feature is useful if you want to translate many objects at once or send the translations to an external translator.
Before you beginTo export and import translations, the Translations plugin must be installed on the server. If the plugin is not already installed, see the article Manage Plugins for instructions on how to install it. |

When is this useful?
Exporting translations is useful when you want to:

- work with the translations in a text editor,
- use an AI tool to translate the content,
- send the file to a translation agency or another person responsible for translating the content.
