Sometimes there may be a need to transfer the contents of a list to Excel. You can easily do this by copying the content directly from the 2c8 Modeling Tool.
- Edit the list you wish to copy the content from. You do this by double-clicking "Lists" in the left panel, then selecting the list you want to edit and clicking the "Edit list" button. - At the far right of the program, you can click on the icon shown in the image below to select which columns you want to display in your list. These columns will then become columns in Excel.
- Select all the contents of the list by clicking CTRL + A on your keyboard. You can also select which rows in the list you want to copy by holding down CTRL and clicking on the rows you want to include. Your selection will be greyed out in the list. Once you've made your selection, press CTRL + C on your keyboard to make a clipboard.
- Open Excel, select row 1, column A and click CTRL + V to paste your result. You can then adjust the columns and make the settings you want.
