This article explains how you create a matrix. Matrices are used to sort and manage information. The matrix is created using lists displayed in an x and y axis.
Matrices are thus based on lists. To create a matrix, you first need to have two lists which can then be put in relation to each other in the matrix. Here you will find other relevant FAQ's in this area:
To create a Matrix, start by clicking "Matrices" in the left panel, then the plus sign.
- Start by selecting the lists you want to put in relation to each other. A list on the x-axis and a list on the y-axis. In the example we have chosen to show in this FAQ, we want to produce a matrix that shows in which individuals who owns wich processes. We have then chosen to display a list on the x-axis that contains all coworkers that we have in our repository, and on the y-axis we have chosen to display a list of all process models in our repository.
- The next step is to choose the type of relationship we want to show between these lists. Click on the plus next to "Relationship" to add the relations you want to display. In this example, we want to show the relation "Used in", as we are interested in seeing in which processes the individuals are used.
- We have now created a matrix that shows all individuals and which processes they are part of.
- Give your Matrix a title and save it on the "Save" button.
