In an interested party model, the business's relationship to its environment is described — those who make demands on us and those who we make demands on. The interested party model is an important part of the management system, as here you can clarify the requirements that must be met towards the outside world.
The interested party model identifies the demands and needs of our stakeholders.
In a graphical interested party model, for example, the business can be put in the middle with a relationship to those who influence or are affected by the business. Those who have some sort of interest in the object placed in the middle then become the object's interested parties. It does not have to be the business that is at the center, you can make a stakeholder model for, for example, a project, a process or an IT system.
Here it can also be described that different interested parties have a relationship with each other outside of the business' contact surface, everything from the customer's customer to a supplier's subcontractor.
You can read more about the different object types available in 2c8 Apps in this FAQ: Which object should I use in which context?
