I want to send a model to a user of 2c8 Lite; how do I do it?

If you are a user of 2c8 Modeling Tool and want to send a model to a user with 2c8 Lite, you need to do it via the maintenance flow. You can read more about the maintenance flow in this FAQ:

The first thing you need to do is to set the 2c8 Lite user as a maintenance role for the model. In this FAQ, you can read more about how you set maintenance roles for models:

If you've chosen the 2c8 Lite user as a Modeler of the model, the model will automatically appear in the Dashboard in 2c8 Lite.

If you've chosen the 2c8 Lite user as a Reviewer or an Approver of the model, you have to click the "Maintenance button" in the toolbar of 2c8 Modeling Tool. Then, a dialogue will appear where you can choose to send the model for approval or reviewal.

The model will now appear for the user in the Dashboard of 2c8 Lite. The model will be visible in the box "For approval" and "Approved by me", given that the 2c8 Lite user was set as an Approver of the model. The 2c8 Lite user then needs to double-click on the model to open it in 2c8 Approve, where the model is approved or rejected.
