In 2c8 Modeling Tool you can export your material or bits of your material. You can send the export to a colleague or move the material from your local computer to your server.
Export current model
To export the model you are currently viewing in 2c8 Modeling Tool, select "File" - "Export" and "Export current model....". Choose where you want to save the export file and select "Ok" to perform the export. The export file will be saved as a .bmt-file.
If you have breakdowns to other models in the model you are exporting you will get a question asking if you want to include breakdowns. If choosing "Yes", the breakdowns from the current model will be included in the export file. |
Export content
You can also export more than the current model. Select "File" - "Export" and "Export content...". You will see a dialog where you can either select "Export everything" or "Choose which content to export".
If you select "Export everything", just click the button "Export" and select where you want to store the export file. Click "Ok" to perform the export. The export file will be saved as a .bmt-file.
If you select "Choose which content to export", continue by clicking "Next" to choose what material to export. In this step, you can choose what models or objects you are exporting, and if you want to include for example layers, fields or, other content in your export file. When you have made your choices, click "Export". Choose where you want to save the export file and select "Ok" to perform the export. The export file will be saved as a .bmt-file.
