Here is also a video of the biggest improvements in 2025.1
What is new?
New dashboard and Home view on server
- Previously, the dashboard consisted of 5 boxes that explained what status the model had in the maintenance flow.
Now a table is displayed with information about maintenance status, who created the model, when the maintenance status was changed and when the model was created.
The table can also be filtered by status level.
The Home view also consisted of boxes and is now displayed as a table instead.
Open models in multiple windows
- Previously, you could only have one model open in the editing area. The models could be opened in multiple tabs, but only one model could be displayed at a time.
In 2025.1, it will now be possible to have multiple models open simultaneously in different windows.
This means that you can edit multiple models at the same time and copy objects smoothly and easily between the different windows.
More options for coloring objects in color profile
- Previously, it was only possible to set one default color per object type.
In version 2025.1, it is possible to set different default colors on the same object type based on field values.
For example, the field "Department" is linked to all activity objects.
All activity objects with the field value Finance have their own color, others or other departments have a different color.
Mark favorite Models
- It is now possible to favorite models that you want to have easier access to in the tool.
The models that are marked as favorites will be listed on the home screen when you open a repository.
Better interface for changing relationship color
- Previously, you had to change the color of the "Frame" on relationships when you wanted to change the default color in the color profile.
We have now removed that tab and you can change the color on the first tab.
Improved dialog for adding custom relationships in the matrix view
- The dialog now contains the relationship icon and the ability to search for relationships.
Active model is highlighted in the model tree
- The model that is opened is now marked in the model tree with orange text instead of black text.
Share model now follows active layers when sharing
- Previously, when you clicked on share model from the model surface, the model was visualized in the file without taking layers into account.
If you now want to turn off any layer, this layer will not be included in the document either.
New way to manage and distribute plug-ins
- Previously, it was up to each individual user to manage and choose which plug-in they would have depending on the server and repository.
We have now changed this so that this is centrally controlled via a designated user in the organization who determines which versions of the plug-in should be used on which server and which repository.
This means that when the user logs in to a server, the program knows which repository the plug-ins should be used on.
