Sometimes our support might ask for your log file to troubleshoot an issue. In this article, we'll describe two ways you can find the log file; in the software and Windows explorer.
Log file in the software
Click on "Help" - "Support" in the menu of the software. A dialogue will appear where you can click on the button "Log file". A file will open as a text document. Save the file to a suitable location on your computer and attach it in an email to our support.
Log file from Windows explorer
If you can't start 2c8 Modeling Tool, and therefore cannot reach the log file from the software, you can reach the log file from Windows explorer (the yellow folder on your computer). Go toC:\Users\*your user*\AppData\Local\2conciliate\*latest version*. Located here, you will find a file called "2conciliate.log". Attach this file in an email to our support.
If you cannot find the folder "AppData" you need to check the box "Hidden items" under the tab "View" in your Windows explorer.
