Sometimes our support might ask after the log file from 2c8 Lite. In 2c8 Lite, there are two ways of finding the log file. One is by opening it through the software, and the other one is by finding it via Windows explorer (if the software won't start).
Log file via the software
From the Dashboard of 2c8 Lite, you'll find the log file by clicking on the yellow icon in the top right corner of the software. Choose "Support". A dialogue will appear where you can click on the button "Log file". This will open a file as a text document. Save the file to a suitable location on your computer and attach it in an email to our support.
If you have a model open and want to reach the log file, you can click on the question mark in the top right corner of the software.
Log file from the Windows explorer
If you can't start 2c8 Lite, and therefore cannot reach the log file from the software, you can reach the log file from Windows explorer (the yellow folder on your computer). Go to C:\Users\*your user*\AppData\Local\2conciliate\*latest version* Lite. Located here, you will find a file called "2conciliate.log". Attach this file in an email to our support.
If you cannot find the folder "AppData" you need to check the box "Hidden items" under the tab "View" in your Windows explorer.
