A draft in 2c8 Lite is a model that does not yet belong to a repository. In other words, the model only exists in 2c8 Lite, and needs to be sent to a user with 2c8 Modeling Tool that can place the model in a repository. Once the model is placed in a repository, the user of 2c8 Lite can reuse objects and create breakdowns to other models in the repository.
A 2c8 Lite user has created a draft in 2c8 Lite. Once the model is ready to be placed in a repository, the 2c8 Lite user sends the model through the maintenance flow by clicking the maintenance button in 2c8 Lite.
The model will now be sent to a 2c8 Modeling Tool user with "Accept drafts" activated under "Permissions" for server users in 2c8 Portal. A 2c8 Portal administrator can activate "Accept drafts" for users that are responsible for adding new models from 2c8 Lite in repositories.
The model will now appear in the Dashboard box "New models in 2c8 Lite" for the 2c8 Modeling Tool user. Double-click on the model and then choose to add it to a repository or reject the draft.
